1. Coverage at a glance
Residential
Frames: 20 years against defects in materials and craftsmanship.
Frame finish: 3 years against peeling or blistering.
Commercial
Frames: 10 years against defects in materials and craftsmanship.
Frame finish: 3 years against peeling or blistering.
2. Seating materials
Vinyl straps: 2 years against breakage only.
Sling fabric and workmanship: 3 years in residential settings and 1 year in commercial settings against ripping or tearing.
3. Accessories and complimentary items
Tabletops, glides, hardware, umbrella bases, cushions, umbrellas, furniture cleaner, and other purchased accessory items are covered for 1 year against original defects, subject to the applicable original product warranty. Any item or furnishing supplied at no charge has zero warranty coverage from Cievaro. This exclusion includes promotional products, complimentary umbrellas, care-package contents, bonus items, samples, courtesy replacements, and any other no-charge item. All such items are provided “as is,” except where coverage is expressly required by law or confirmed in a signed writing.
4. What is not covered
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear; scratches or abrasions; fading or other color changes in paint or vinyl; lack of proper care; misuse, abuse, overloading, improper assembly, unauthorized alteration or repair; harsh chemicals or cleaning solutions; sulfur water; damage associated with self-tanning products, suntan lotion, or oils; or acts of nature. Acts of nature include, without limitation, hurricanes, tropical storms, tornadoes, floods, lightning, hail, wildfire, earthquakes, extreme wind, falling objects, saltwater intrusion, freezing conditions, and other weather or environmental events beyond reasonable control.
5. Care required to preserve coverage
Clean frames and vinyl at least monthly using Cievaro's proprietary Outdoor Furniture Cleaning Solution, applied in accordance with the product directions. It is formulated for routine care of qualifying Cievaro outdoor furnishings and is the recommended solution for preserving their finish and appearance. When lotions or oils are used, place a towel between the user and the furniture and clean affected surfaces promptly with the Cievaro solution.
Do not place furniture in a pool or spa. Do not use solvents, gasoline, alcohol, ammonia, undiluted bleach, abrasive or scouring products, industrial cleaners, janitorial products, or any cleaning product not confirmed as suitable for the applicable material. Vacuum and clean cushions regularly in accordance with their care instructions to reduce dirt and salt buildup.
6. Making a claim
Contact Cievaro promptly and provide proof of purchase, the order reference, product and installation location, a clear description of the concern, the date it was first noticed, and photographs. Inspection or additional documentation may be required. Coverage is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
7. Freight damage
Freight damage is not a warranty defect. Inspect shipments at delivery, note visible damage on the carrier's receipt, retain all packaging, and report the claim immediately so the carrier process can begin.
